It has been a scorching summer with LAC members running through it all. There have been great performances and plenty of shade hunting. A last hurrah for the summer season with our masters athletes qualified for the EMAC track and field league final.

The autumn and winter fixture list is now available.

There are a wide range of opportunities to join with clubmates and participate in friendly events. Our main focus are the Chingford League events. With local venues for cross country and road races these see our runners turn out in numbers with younger and older athletes cheering each other on. There are several more cross country races in the Essex League and various County and wider championship races for those who want to compete a bit more.

Our own events are always a highlight. The George Richardson Interclub Vets is first up on 26th September - 5 miles in the Roding Valley for athletes over 40. An early slot this year for the historic Ware Cup on 14th November - a whole club event with junior races. Finally we will gather on 27th December for our fun club Mince Pie Relays.
