Loughton Athletic Club is a small, friendly, club run by its members for its members, and 2008 will be the clubs Centenary year. To celebrate the occasion we will be organising a number of special events during the year. To keep updated on the events and dates make regular visits to our website

Our runners and walkers compete in Track and Field meetings in the summer and Cross Country during the winter. We compete in the Men's Southern League, the Women's Southern League, the Eastern Young Athlete's League, the Eastern Vet's League and the Essex Walking League. During the winter we compete in the Essex Cross Country League, the Chingford League and at many individual events. The athletes also compete in many other events around the country. The walking group are very active and competitive and support all the local, regional and national events.

Our club magazine,  Loughton Lines gives details of results and articles of interest (click the link to see the latest edition) or any of the other links for the relevant information.

Loughton Ladies X-Country TeamTraining is held on Tuesday evenings Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons. During the winter period the Thursday evening sessions are held at Roding Valley High School gymnasium. These sessions cost £2.00 per person. Training at all other times is free.
