The Summer Training programme will start after
Easter.
Sessions are as follows:
Tuesday Evening
At the clubhouse and Track. Session starts at 7pm and runs for approximately
1 hour for adults and older children and 30 minutes for younger children.
Thursday Evening
At the clubhouse and Track. Session starts at 7pm and runs for approximately
1 hour. Not especially suitable for younger children.
Saturday Afternoon
At the clubhouse when no fixture (see fixture list).
Beginners are encouraged to attend the Tuesday session initially, where
we aim to cater for a range of abilities and aspirations. The cost of training is covered by the annual subscription.
New and prospective club members are very welcome at training sessions.
Sunday Morning
A forest run
starting at 9:30am. The informal group meets at "The Woodpile", which is
the car park on the A121 approximately half way between Goldings Hill
Pond and the Wake Arms (Old Orleans) roundabout. The runs last for about
1 hour but the group typically splits to allow the stronger runners to
have a longer/faster run while the more sedate runners can go at a
steadier pace.
